Hello everyone,
the excitement from SKILL & CHILL's first internationalization mission has barely subsided, and we're already starting the second one. It's going to be an intense year — we can promise you that. Before I write about the second mission, do you remember where the first one took place?
Here's a clue: it is home to the tallest land-based building in the world. Looking up the Burj Khalifa's height — 828 meters — I discovered that some man-made structures exceed 2,000 meters. Impressive, isn't it?
As you can see, I got a little carried away at the very beginning — just as it was easy to get carried away by the United Arab Emirates and an archipelago in the Indian Ocean, where we managed to win a client :) I'll keep the client's identity a mystery until the project is complete — it's still in progress.
What we saw in the Emirates, particularly Abu Dhabi and rapidly developing Dubai, made a huge impression on us. And not only because of the modern skyscrapers, spotless surroundings, high temperatures and sunshine.
You probably know what really caught our attention: the astonishing pace of IT development. We noticed it immediately after landing — at the airport and even in public transport. During business meetings in the market, we learned that companies in the Emirates, and the country itself, want to be among the world's leaders in IT.
We wouldn't be ourselves if we didn't want to be part of that process :) Our previous experience has shown that it pays to set ambitious goals, follow dreams and plans, and put real heart into projects. We support clients and solve the puzzles of digitizing and automating business processes. When the result is an 85% time saving in processing an entire business process, we're proud — and immediately ask whether it can be optimized even further. Why not raise the bar again?
I have no idea how high that bar can go — apparently the sky is the limit. We're confident that we can offer a lot to the market. As you know, our doctrine is simple: we give our clients SKILL so they can feel CHILL. In short, we want to use our full range of capabilities to support companies in the region as they move deeper into the digital 21st century.
Now let's move quickly to the second mission I mentioned at the beginning.
PS. We probably code more agilely than we write speeches like this :)
I won't keep you waiting any longer. The second mission focuses on Saudi Arabia and LEAP 2023, where we'll meet local companies, learn about their needs, understand how they approach IT projects and discover what they expect from IT delivery methodologies.
LEAP 2023 is Saudi Arabia's largest and most popular IT expo and is gaining increasing recognition around the world. It attracts not only local businesses but also major global technology leaders. It is a huge honor that LEAP invited us and that we'll be part of such an impressive group. We're especially happy that, in addition to know-how, we have our own products to present. Have you already seen Business Zone.?
In simple terms, our “BISON” is a procurement platform and procure-to-pay system with many additional ERP-like elements that improve communication and information exchange between a company and its suppliers.
For those interested, our wider portfolio also includes time and work management systems, complaints systems, delivery-notification solutions, document scanning and archiving systems, and workflow platforms that make information flow inside companies easier. Looking at the range of products and their applications, we can confidently label them digitalization solutions.
We've revealed a few cards. We'll be back soon with more news, and for now we're sharing a few photos from the previous mission.
Hands up if you can't wait for the next article about the internationalization project. I certainly can't wait to see what lies ahead and to tell you about it in my own words.
Until then, stay healthy and positive, remember to chill — and we'll keep working. High five! ;]
