PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Isn't common sense the best project management methodology?

ORGANIZATION AND PLANNING

How to manage workflow? Who decides on the direction of work carried out by various teams? How should the progress of the project’s work be shared and reviewed? The answers to these questions are probably not unfamiliar to anyone, for example, you can schedule regular project team meetings, but who should participate in them? How much information needs to be shared at these meetings? Who else needs to be kept informed, and at what level of detail, and how often? We believe that there isn't a single answer to each of the questions. Organizing a weekly meeting with managers is not a problem, although during such meetings there are cases when relations with management overshadow the real situation in the project, and the detailed information provided on current workflow is simply not well understood. SKILL & CHILL pays special attention to the progress of assigned tasks so that each party is always up to date with the project.

ANALYSIS AND STRATEGY

Before starting a new project, make sure you fully understand the client's expectations about the product, namely what it should do and what it should be like, e.g. a web application or dedicated software. The Analysis and Strategy should be matched and consistent with the client's expectations. Project management is nothing more than the ability to deal with potential risks. Project success is based on many factors such as accurate identification of critical path methods ( CPM ), appropriate assignment of tasks and fighting against budget constraints. Given the demands of projects, the Analysis is something we should start with and only then we should adjust the strategy to the analysis.

PRODUCTIVITY AND TOOLS

Management should facilitate the work of the team during the project management process with timely and relevant information, which makes the work more efficient. In order to achieve that, SKILL & CHILL uses tools, which are accessible to everyone involved, yet are very flexible and help keeping things on track. Project teams need a solution that makes it easy to manage tasks and their status. Good collaboration helps achieve greater efficiency as it solves project management problems and allows organizations to eliminate unnecessary meetings. Each effective project management tool allows you to do more than just manage multiple projects. They provide you with the ability to evaluate projects according to predetermined specifications. This allows organizations to assess the potential value of each project.
